Learning how to build an emergency shelter is a life skill for those who spend time outdoors. In this program, students will learn basic techniques to keep themselves warm and dry in an emergency and will work in teams to build an effective shelter, using success criteria to guide them. Proper resource gathering, structural design and safety will be emphasized.
