In this all-day program, students will learn about the forest - and the trees! Part of the day will be spent on an immersive hike through the forest to discover the basics of forest ecology and how the trees shape the environment around them. The rest of the day will be an interactive tree identification workshop where students learn how to use a dichotomous key to identify a variety of tree species, then test their knowledge on a Tree ID hike.
